We had a great time at “Factory Light Festival” in Slemmestad in Norway, exhibiting our two projects RADIX and LUMINOUS OBJECTS: HOMMAGE. The temporary community center has been turned into a small but beautiful exhibition venue, featuring other great artworks by HC Gilje, High Files Visuals, ABDX, Studio Otaika and many others. Together with Martina Stella I had the honour of moderating this years edition of IBSIC (Image Beyond the Screen Conference) at Video Mapping Festival in Lille, France.
As part of the PACE Festival and Xenorama, we organised and curated the media art exhibition SUB ZERO at Waschhaus Arena Potsdam from 21st – 22nd Dec 2023. Eight art installations illuminate the fragility, beauty and mediality of frozen formations and structures. The exhibition presents works by artists who challenge our imagination and provide insights into the deep global interconnections of the frozen world. Through interactive, walk-in works of art and generative media formats, the exhibition traces the complex levels of meaning of ice, glaciers and arctic cold. Inspired by the silence of winter and the tectonic sounds of the glaciers, “Sub-Zero” invites you to pause and linger. The immersive experience is a tribute to transience, a call to appreciation and at the same time a celebration of the sublime beauty that lies in fragility.

We are on the The Lumen Prize for Art and Technology shortlist! Our 360° concert installation REFLECT is on this years BCS Immersive Environment Award list.
REFLECT is a 360° concert installation exploring the possibilities of an artistic communication between man and machine. A digital entity is embodied in different non-anthropomorphic light, screen and mirror arrangements as an observer, interpreter and virtual conductor.
We are very proud to be nominated for this year’s Media Architecture Award at the MAB20 together with the German Maritime Museum, Westermann Kommunikation, Dirk Mailänder and Lightlife. In our media art installation GEZEITEN as a part of the “Window into the Seas” project, we staged the novel LED frame on the iconic façade of the Maritime Museum Bremerhaven complemented by projection and video art inside the museum. The focus was on the themes of tides, sea, ice and climate research. Stay in touch to find out how the award ceremony turned out.
Exciting things ahead! Corona turned Xenorama’s original plan of a concert into a 360° film: For REFLECT we are preparing an audiovisual experience in three scenes with Kammerakademie Potsdam and Waschhaus Potsdam.
Amidst all this Corona problems, I am happy that we found a way to make my long term planned exhibition project with „Junge Kunst Wolfsburg e.V.“ work, even with changes and limitations.

We are thrilled and very honoured to be amongst the first prize winners of this year’s Designpreis Brandenburg. The exhibition “Lebendige Bauten / Living Buildings” which we cocreated together with the team around Brigitta Bungard was awarded in the communication design category. Thanks to the wonderful team, the jury and all the people who supported us along the way.
